Looking back at Christmas 2019
Christmas was a blur and we’re coming to the end of February already! After wrapping up on auction admin and office tidying, we thought we’d take a moment to look back on the last few months of our fundraising silent auctions.
We had auctions at a record SIX Christmas party venues in December, scattered all over the country! Comprising of Battersea Evolution, Magazine London, ICC Birmingham, St Albans, Finsbury Square and Tatton Park.
Hosted by Smart and JD Parties, each venue was draped in festive décor and venue themes ranged from snow dusted Après to carnival coloured Greatest Showman. Our fantastic silent auction team worked tirelessly throughout December evenings to ensure each auction was conducted with professionalism and raised lots of money for the chosen charities. The funds were split between these worthy causes:
Smart venues – St Richard’s Hospice, Muscular Dystrophy UK
JD Parties venues – Ronald Mcdonald House Charities
As friends and colleagues enjoyed the festivities, our silent auction team set up the display and showcased the fabulous items on offer. See below for a selection of memorabilia and art on offer at the auctions. We succeeded previous Christmas results and we’re proud to have such a dedicated group of auctioneers working for us! We wonder what 2020 will have in store…
